We are excited to announce that we are offering an in-house support worker every Wednesday from 9:00am to 12:00pm starting July 3, 2024. This dedicated professional will be available to provide assistance with various needs related to the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (MSDPR).
How Can We Assist You?
Our support worker specializes in a range of services, ensuring you get the help you need to manage your circumstances effectively. Here’s what we offer:
- Applications for assistance: First time applications
- Crisis Supplements: Assistance with essential items such as food, clothing, furniture, shelter, and utilities.
- Monthly Reports: Help with completing and submitting your monthly reports accurately and on time.
- Shelter Updates: Guidance on reporting changes if you’ve recently moved or are planning to move.
- Moving Transportation and Storage Supplements: Support with moving costs, whether you’re moving within the province or out of it, and temporary storage for your belongings.
- Health and Medical Equipment Supplements: Access to necessary health and medical equipment.
- Treatment Facility Transportation Supplement: Help with transportation costs to attend drug or alcohol treatment facilities.
- PWD/PPMB Applications: Assistance with applying for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Persons with Persistent Multiple Barriers (PPMB) benefits.
